SUSTAINABLE WARMTH, NATURALLY MADE

The Wool Journey

Farming

From centuries, many families do sheep farming. These farmers manage breeding, care for the animals’ health, ensure they have adequate feed and shelter, and prepare the harvested wool.

Shearing

In the Spring season, Sheeps are sheared by skilled shearers carefully to remove the wool. This also helps the sheep to be comfortable in the summers.

Scouring/Cleaning

The sheared wool is washed to eleminate impurities, dirt and grease after going through the processe of sorting and grading.

Carding

This step aims to detangling and combing wool fibers, so they all line up in one direction

Spinning

Combed fibers are finely spun and tightly twisted to create strong and evenly smooth yarn.

Dyeing

Dyeing is the process of imparting color to yarns using dyes, which can be natural or synthetic. The process involves submerging the yarn in a dye solution, or dye liquor, to fix the color particles onto the yarn, followed by washing to remove unfixed dyes.
